In honor of my friend Sara’s You:create series, I have created!
Are you stuck in a cement-bound office building where your to-do list has out-expanded your to-day?
Had enough coffee to make your ears tingle?
Eating lunch at your desk because – psheesh you don’t even have enough time to go to the bathroom, let alone go out to lunch!
Then, sit back, enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds from the Caribbean and may this give you a window to de-stresserization for your Thursday.
Don’t forget to turn up your speakers!
Oh, and Gitz… I thought of you throughout the creation of this entire video… I pray that it gives you a little slice of heaven from your computer 🙂 Consider yourself hugged!!
Thank you, Jenny! What a great way to start the day!

Steel pan music! YAY!
Lovely pics …. makes me wish I were in the Caribbean … oh wait a minute! I live here! HA!
Check out my blog for some other Caribbean pics … I have to figure out how to put up a video; it seems like WordPress.com doesn’t allow it. Aw phooey. I had a 5 min steelpan video to put up 😦 Aw well…
I LOVE this post!

Yup! The ‘Bajan’ in my name is the colloquial name for ‘Barbadian’ … it’s what we call ourselves – and I haven’t written a poem in like FOREVER, but I have written for enough years and been published a few times to warrant the ‘poet’ title 🙂
Comment on my blog and I’ll send you the steel pan movie I made on my phone – they go with the beach pics 🙂

OH MY GOSH!!!
Ok, so I watched it twice because I didn’t want it to end. Much like you felt about the vacation, I’m sure. It’s seriously hard for me to believe this exists… it’s like to much beauty for one place.
And am I weird that when I saw the sea turtles and stingrays I imagined them having voices like in Finding Nemo? It’s true. I can’t help it.
I also think I might have croaked to just see random iguana like creatures walking around. That is so amazing to me! Are you just dying to go back?
Jenny, thank you SO MUCH for taking me with you and letting us all see what your eyes soaked in. Love you!
